Google Redesigns Optimize

Google Optimize

I just got the announcement that Google has redesigned the Optimize interface and made it easier to install and connect to Google Analtyics.

For those who haven’t used optimize, they’ve got some amazing featured and when they added in the capabilities to customize a page based on a variety of information pulled from Google Analytics.  Incredibly powerful stuff and now it’s easier than ever to explore. You can do so here.

Here’s Their Announcement:

Hi Dave,

With Google Optimize, you can quickly test and launch changes to your site’s layout, content, and more. We’re always looking for ways to make it easier for marketers to use Optimize, which is why we’re excited to release a new, redesigned Optimize. You’ll notice the following changes:

• A streamlined experience page: We’ve added a visual step-by-step guide at the top of the page to help you create an experience. Plus, we’ve organized the necessary steps in a clear, linear layout – reducing the number of tabs you need to interact with.
• A direct link to Google Analytics: If you haven’t gotten around to linking Optimize and Analytics, our new interface makes it easier for you to link to your Analytics properties. Once linked, you can select the goals and metrics you want to optimize your experience for.
• A simplified code installation: You now only need to install one piece of code to your site — helping you get started with experiences even faster.

Before making the redesigned interface available to everyone, we ran an A/B test (yes, using Optimize!) to see if our changes helped our users create more experiences. And they did, with an average of 16% more experiences started.
