Black Friday related news is prevalent this week (for obvious reasons), as well as some interesting changes Google has made with showing media in their search results.
Lots of tech and plenty of global search topics this week. A start of month update kicking things around, short wisdoms regarding ranking and indexing from Google, Google maps functionality, and security threats.
It was a fairly quiet week in paid search and algo updates but massive in SERP layout changes. Some we like and some we don’t but then, at the end of the day all any of us gets to do is try to figure out how to turn a searcher into a buyer.
