According to the speakers the amount of people that adopted the Google Author tag was low and possibly wasn’t optimal enough to truly prove trusted authorship. It’s possible that Google saw the authorship tag useless and not necessary.

The speakers felt like they had little or nothing much to say but at the end of the day what will continue to be necessary is having a brand representative. If you have connected with most of today’s blogs from day one PubCon it’s been find that valued personality that best represents your client and build on it.

Build your audience but not only build your audience with engagement in mind. Work with your audience and make them part of your brand. This talk was at the end of the day a good summery that summed up a continuous theme. BUILD A COMMUNITY- BUILD TRUST- COMMUNICATE

Recreate brand affinity, Focus on Communication, Make Your Brand a Reality… This is what I personally work to hit home with most clients and it seems whether on any platform including G+ this concept or at least adding it to your strategy your client will have this for a lifetime.
